Made this for my mother's birthday. I was scare of making it but it turned out really good. Only thing I need to work on is getting the chocolate into the rest of the batter and blended right.
There is a funny (well funny now) story however with this cake. It is actually my second try. The first try ended up falling face first on the floor when I flinched when I burnt my finger on the pan while checking to see if it was done. Needless to say it was destroyed and I was a little pissed. But I made another and as you can see it didn't go *splat*.
Made this for Valentine's Day for Brad. Turned out surprisingly good for a first try.
I originally got this recipe from a Bisquick box. But since I don't usually have Bisquick around anymore I tried modifying it for flour. It turned out okay but needs a bit more tinkering I think... although Brad didn't seem to think so.

I am a chewy cookie kind of gal. I feel a cookie (especially chocolate chip and oatmeal!) MUST be chewy and not flat and crunchy. It took me awhile but I finally got them right.
Peanut Butter and Sugar cookies aren't my favorites but I do like them and they are easy to make. And sugar cookie dough is just a blast to play with. Heck anything that my daughter can mushy in her hand and not vomit or need a trip to the ER if she eats it is great!
